This is the finest flat music cabinet we at Music Treasures have been able to find in 30 years of searching. Wren Chest manufactures fine quality furniture that you will be proud to have in your family for generations. Each chest carries the registered Wren trademark, and is identified by it&#39s own serial number. Constructed of Honduras Mahogany, using mortise and tenon or double doweled joints with glued corner blocks to ensure strength. Dust panels are constructed below each drawer for function and to increase case rigidity. The drawers are five solid mahogany boxes dovetailed front and back. Drawer sides, backs and bottoms are hand sanded, sealed, lacquered and waxed in a natural finish to ensure a smooth feel. Finish is heavy full-bodied lacquer on all 4 sides and hand rubbed in a 21 step process.
