The unofficial drum of Brazil, the pandeiro is commonly used in samba, choro and coco, but also in jazz and funk. The extremely versatile instrument is sometimes mounted like a snare drum. Item 755284 features a wooden shell with a white-color finish. The shells for items 755285 through 755287 & 146145 are constructed of high-strength ABS for maximum impact and durability. The drum features a synthetic head for improved durability, brushed nickel hardware, and five sets of pandeiro jingles and six tuning screws.
